Jamie Bate

Speech Language Pathologist

Jamie Bate is a resident of Greene County and currently provides early intervention services to children in both Greene and Fayette Counties. Jamie graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from California University of Pennsylvania and obtained her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology also from California University of Pennsylvania. She currently holds a certificate of clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology by the State of Pennsylvania. She is an active participant in continuing education and received the ASHA Award for Continuing Education (ACE). Jamie currently holds a certification in Vital Stim Therapy.

Jamie has over 13 years experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.   After graduating with her Master’s Degree, Jamie worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a long-term care setting, as well as in a pediatric outpatient/adult inpatient setting at a local hospital, focusing on the evaluation and treatment of speech, language and swallowing disorders. She has over 10 years experience as an early intervention Speech-Language Pathologist and is passionate about encouraging the growth of speech and language skills in children in a natural and fun environment.
